I just got a call from my mom, and the verdict from the doctor is that nothing was broken or cracked in any way from the fall. She just has a fair amount of bruising, both internally and externally, around her leg and it is going to take a few weeks to heal. It sucks that she fell and hurt herself, but it really is good to hear that she didn't actually damage anything seriously.
