Cabin Fever DVD

I don't know that anyone who reads this (besides my dearly beloved) would actually want to own a copy of Cabin Fever on DVD, but I can definitley highly recommend it as a rental simply for the extras. The alternate G-rated family edit of the movie is priceless, the three "Rotten Fruit" shorts are a blend of Spinal Tap, the California Raisins, and Brain Dead, and the feature titled "pancakes" simply must be seen to be believed. What is it about Electric Six that makes them perfectly suited for bizarre videos?

Of course, the movie itself is just plain sick and wrong. Which is why it now sits on my video shelf.

Heh! I got a little excited thinking you were talking about "Wrong Turn", which *is* sick and wrong. I thought I'd get to see the 'flight through the trees' scene again. That was just about the coolest axe-butchering I've seen in a long time.

But Cabin Fever: disgusting bloody sores and vomit, what's not to love about that?

Is it incongruous that I love Barbie and Joan of Arcadia is my favorite TV show right now?
