Just a quick two-topic post today:
Love Life
I actually got to spend time with Kris this week on four days in a row!
Sunday I went over to her place and hung out playing with her new Playstation 2. It's been ages since I played video games. It was mighty nifty.
On Monday, Kris came over for a while later in the evening. We mostly just hung out, watched tv, listened to music, that kinda stuff. You know, just being together. Nifty.
On Tuesday we were both a little out of sorts. I had had a long day, what with the I'd up doctor's appointment, having a major drama scene at work (that has since been resolved), and unexpectedly having to watch Ben in the afternoon. Don't get me wrong, I love spending time with him, but it was really not a good day for it. By the time he had gone home and Kris had come over, I was tired, hungry, and cranky. Kris had had a back adjustment earlier in the day, and was feeling queasy and generally out of sorts as well. We mostly just had some dinner and then watched 24. Good episode. This season has not been as good as last year, but it looks like the final few hours will be good.
Wednesday I went over to Kris' place for the evening. She was baking cookies for her trip this weekend, so I pretty much just hung out and watched her bake (and got to sample some of the goods). We watched Angel, which was a dang good episode. I tried to watch Buffy, I really did, but I obviously came in past its prime and all the episodes I saw sucked. I had ignored Angel on the basis that it was written by the same person, so it probably sucked too. Kris got me watching it a few months ago, and I have been pleasantly surprised. Excellent show.
So anyway, we got to see each other for a record-breaking four days in a row. That was very nice.
Furniture
The thinning has begun. I had cleared off my dining room table last week sometime, and finally got around to taking a picture of it last night. I posted an ad on Craig's List last night, and it sold right away. Someone is coming over this afternoon to pick it up. Yay! One less detail to worry about.
