Talked to my mom for a good while this afternoon. She is doing much better than she was a few days ago. When she is fine, she is absolutely fine -- it's just when her PT level gets out of whack that she has problems.
She has decided that she just can't go back to work, it is taking too much out of her. The doctors concur. On another positive note, John has realized that school just ain't gonna happen for him right now, and he is widening his job search. I the meantime he is still drawing unemployment, and they have a little bit of cash reserve, so for the time being things are OK. Scary, but OK.
