I am speechless, I simply don't know what to say.

Earlier this afternoon my friend Trisha passed away. She had been fighting cancer for years now, and honest to god never in my life have I known a better example of facing adversity with grace, humor, and quiet strength. To the very end she never gave up fighting and never gave up hope.

Now she's gone.

I think I first asked her what she thought of you about three years ago. She was absolutely delighted, and thought I should ask you out right away.

Needless to say, it took me a bit of time to follow her advice. Turns out that, as with so many other things, she was absolutely right.

It's just so hard to imagine that she is not here anymore. We talked a lot about my mom, and she helped me see things in a different way. I was always flattered that she would share theatre tickets with me, and I am grateful that *I* got to take *her* to see Singin' in the Rain last month. I'm so glad she got to come see The Bobs with my mom and I right before Christmas, she had such a good time. Mostly I am just so glad I met her on that sidewalk three and a half years ago. What kind of lunatics show up on the street at 5:30 in the morning just for a stupid radio show? My first direct experience with the Pat Pack, and look where it got me. It's all her fault, I tell you.
