Just got back from the doctor.

The good news: my thyroid level is normal, so my current medication dosage appears to be correct. I am switching to the generic version of the med with my next refill, so there may be a little shuffling, but overall it appears that my thyroid is under control.

The bad news: in the past few months I have gained a significant amount of weight, and my blood pressure has gone up. I believe the specific medical term is "I am a lazy fat ass".

I don't necessarily think one has to do with the other, correlation does not equal causation and all that. In the past two months work got particularly crazy, which would no doubt increase my blood pressure, and I have completely gotten out of the habit of exercising. Clearly that needs to change. My skates miss me, and my bike has never even really gotten to know me. I intend to spend quality time with both.

Oh, and my snoring is keeping Kris awake, so I am going to have a sleep study done. So that will be fun.

Work-wise, I'm a travelin' man. I spend a week in Seattle from July 7th - 11th. I spend a week in Oakland, CA from July 27th - August 1st. I spend a week in Las Vegas from August 15th - 22nd.

So that will be fun, too.
