Moffat named Doctor Who supremo
It's been a rumor for some time now, but now it's official. The same man who brought us "Blink", "The Girl in the Fireplace", and "The Empty Child / The Doctor Dances" (not to mention Coupling) will take over as lead writer and executive producer beginning with Series Five airing in 2010. Woo hoo!

Seriously, though, this has been my wishful thought for the past couple of years, and now it's TRUE bounce bounce bounce. I guess someone at the BBC was paying attention to whose scripts were winning all the awards.
