So, [livejournal.com profile] icebluenothing, how much did you love Blink? That episode had you written all over it. My mind boggles that it came from the same writer responsible for Coupling. I loved Steven Moffat before, I thought The Empty Child / The Doctor Dances and The Girl in the Fireplace were both standouts of their seasons, but this one just blew me away. I mean really, just wow....

You have to ask? I loved it so much. When Russell decides he doesn't want to be head writer any more, who do we have to bribe to make sure Moffat is his replacement?

I was talking to Ahna about this the other day, and really, I don't think it's that surprising the same man has such a firm grasp on both funny and creepy. Both of them involve managing the unexpected.

Yes, but are you making a t-shirt that says, "The angels have the phone box"?

This was just posted on the bbc website:

What I Did on my Christmas Holidays by Sally Sparrow (http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/episodes/2007/blink_annual.shtml)

It's Steven Moffat's short story - originally published in the 2006 Doctor Who Annual - upon which Blink is based.

No weeping angels, no "Life is short and you are hot...", but it is still a fun read.
