5:50 a.m. : Alarm does not go off, I do not wake up.
6:10 a.m. : I do not walk out the door to leave for Sara's place.
6:25 a.m. : I do not arrive at Sara's place.
6:36 a.m. : Phone ringing. Glance at clock. OH SHIT! Stumble out of bed, pick up phone. "I'm Sorry..." "Oh, God! Please Hurry!" Sara is supposed to be at work, sitting in her classroom in Lynnwood at 7:10 a.m.
6:37 a.m. : Stumble out the door. Forgot my watch. Forgot my water. Doesn't matter, keep going. Forgot to buckle my belt. Doesn't matter, do it when you get there.
6:43 a.m. : Phone Sara. "I'm almost there. To save time, why don't you meet me downstairs at the door to let me in." "Ok, come to the side door not the main door." "Will do. I'll be there in three minutes."
6:48 a.m. : Arrive at Sara's place, she is waiting at the door. She tells me a couple of things to write in Ben's notebook for his teachers. Then she heads off to work.
Damn. Less than 13 minutes from sound asleep to arriving at Sara's place. Damn.
