The attending physician has not come by on rounds yet. A preliminary reading of last night's CT scan showed some fluid, but the GI specialist says he doesn't know for sure what that means yet, and is waiting for the full report from the radiologist. The fever has returned, he was at 101 degrees at the last check. This morning's blood work showed an elevated white cell count. To Sara and I, all of that sounds like an infection somewhere. No doctor has said that yet. More news when I have it.
