Ben is running a fever of 102.5, so the doctors are giving him some Tylenol to bring down the fever. They are not sure what is causing it, since there is nothing going on with him related to the pancreatitis that should be causing a fever. Aside from that, he is also still in pain from the ERCP. The GI doctor says this is not unusual, given how long they were in there and how much rooting around they did to clear out the stones. Nothing to be worried about there, just keeping a watch on it. His liver numbers are coming down as well, so that's good. They haven't run the pancreatic numbers over the weekend, so we will have to wait until tomorrow to find out where he is at with the amilase and lipase (sp?). He continues to try to get at his PICC line, and had to be physically restrained for quite a while yesterday to keep him from removing it. He also had a crying spell, which could have been caused by his depression at being in the hospital for so long or could have been caused by being forced to spend so much time alone with Sara's mother. (I'm sorry, was that bitchy of me?)
