Ben just got out of surgery for the ERCP. The doctor found "lots and lots" of stones blocking his pancreatic duct. All of the stones have been removed, the duct widened, and a stent put in place to keep it open. Benjamin did very well in the surgery, and there is now excellent flow through the entire system. We don't know yet whether this is going to be an ongoing problem, but he should have complete relief from the pain immediately. I am not sure how much longer we will be here in Gainesville, but the immediate crisis appears to be over.
