The GI specialist came by later in the afternoon yesterday, said that Ben was definitely a candidate for the ERCP, and scheduled Ben for the procedure this morning. The only possible delay will be anesthesia, since Ben has to be under sedation in order to do this test. We will know much more once the test is done.

Also, since Ben will be under a general anesthesia for the ERCP, the PICC team will jump right in after the procedure and put in a new PICC line so it is all done in one shot. I don't know when any of that will happen, but things started jumping yesterday morning by 8:30am.

Kris and my mom came up last night for a visit. We had a decent dinner, went back to the hospital for a while, and then back to the hotel. I was in bed and asleep by 8pm, and Kris and my mom headed back home. I'll see Kris again on Friday.

I haven't been into the room yet this morning to see Ben. I assume he is still asleep. Sara and her sister were going to spend the night in the hospital room, switching off staying awake to watch Ben. I am going to grab a quick breakfast (the food court opens in fifteen minutes), and then I will go to the room and spell one of them. I assume Sara will want to take a shower and get some breakfast, and have enough time to do that and be back before any procedures begin.
