OMG!! Are you actually moving in? Are those your clothes and your bed? Or do those things belong to the previous owner and the pics are of your walk through.
The house looks beautiful. Needs some colour though... all those stark white walls... bleh! Time to make friends w/ Home Depot and start watching all those makeover shows. :D

Yes, there will be much painting done over time. Not much before we move, since we have to take a rather pragmatic approach (we are definitely stretching to get this house). The tragic thing is that before putting the house on the market the owners painted over their previous scheme, changing the house to pretty much a blank slate. The only place that got missed was the downstairs half bath, and the colors in there are perfect. I wish they had left the rest as well...
It is gorgeous! I understand why the previous owners changed to 'blank slate' - that is the 'quick sell' advice given to most sellers. You will have fun making it your 'own.' Congratulations, you deserve the best.
Better watch out what you ask for...I just may take you up on that! Especially now that I appear to have the furniture issues under control. You all will have to come for a visit. You can actually walk through the place now.....
