Woke up this morning. Fed the cats. Sat down to check my email. Was greeted with a password prompt for my work email. Entered my password. It failed. Entered my password again, slowly. Still failed.
That was when a moment of pure terror gripped me. On the day of the tech department re-org, all of a sudden my password no longer works. Crap!
Once the terror passed, I disconnected from the VPN, reconnected, and upon reconnect got the prompt telling me my old password had expired and to please enter a new one. Ah.
Entered new password. Locked and unlocked computer to sync up the profile with the new password. Opened Outlook without any errors.
My, that was a fun way to wake up.
Ten more hours until the hammer falls.
