I missed week 6 due do traveling, but it would have been pretty much a wash anyway again due to travelling. Take out the two consecutive weeks where I stalled out, and I am tracking with an average of 2 pounds per week. That seems like a good, healthy number to me. Being a process-oriented geek, I have kept spreadsheets with charts. They show May as being a battle between 276 and 270, and June as a battle between 271 and 263. July is shaping up to be a battle betwen 265 and somewhere in the 250's. In my workouts I am lifting 20-25% more weight than when I started, and I have lost at least 2 inches from my waistline. All of the trends are positive, and I definitely feel better than I have in quite a while. Still and all I am frequently impatient and frustrated, wanting much more much faster. Just like Ed Gruberman, I must learn patience. Somewhere around next spring I should arrive at where I want to be.

You're doing great, Honey!
I do think it is fantastic that you are doing this, when I can defeat my envy that is. You have amazing will power, a determination, when you set your mind to something. I am proud of you. And thanks for dragging me along too.
