Father's Day Card from Ben

At school this past week, Ben's teachers helped him create a Father's Day card for me.  What they do is prepare a script with several blanks to fill in, and then have him choose the pictures and words to fill the spaces.  The card is basically shaped like a tie, hanging down over a button down shirt.  You lift up each page in the tie to read the book. The text of the card follows.  The bolded text are the areas that Ben filled in himself.


My dad is 6 feet 5 inches tall.  My dad weighs 200 pounds.

My dad is 30 years old.  My dad likes to play football.  My dad is funniest when he has the hiccups.

My dad's favorite food is fast food.  I like it when my dad reads a story with me.  My dad is special because he takes care of me.

I love you dad!

That's one of the best child-made card ideas! Ben sounds like a smart little boy. (I like the fast food fill in!) Happy Father's Day!
