I was in a planning meeting this afternoon for nearly two hours.  I spoke three times.

In twenty five minutes, the exact same meeting is starting over again.  Why?  Because a key manager wants us to start using some kind of agile management tracking software this week, so we have to go over everything again in order to input the data.  Why didn't we do that the first time through?  Because said manager was over an hour late for the meeting.  Why was he late?  Don't know, don't care.  The natural response to being that late would be to put off using the software until next week.  The actual response is to have the same meeting over again.

Because really, isn't Agile Development all about maximizing everybody's time and eliminating wasteful processes?

He's not even on the goddamned team. I just want him to keep his goddamned Kiwi nose out of our goddamned project so that we can get some fucking work done instead of wasting all of the engineering type time. Oh- and i don't think that there's a phone in this conference room.

Close, but reversed.

This:

Because really, isn't Agile Development all about maximizing everybody's time and eliminating wasteful processes?

Should be:

Because really, isn't Agile Development all about maximizing wasteful processes and eliminating everybody's time?
