Perfectly Normal

The CAT scans came back perfectly normal.  The blood work was all normal.  The hospital's lab came back with exactly the same INR that I did with the home test kit.  So after spending nearly five hours at the hospital I took my mom home.  We tried to give the hospital money, but they didn't want it.  That was easily ten thousand dollars in diagnostics, what with two CAT scans, an EKG, and all of the blood work.  But apparently since she has no insurance and so little income, the hospital is goint to just write it all off.  What a world.  She can't get insurance, can't find a doctor willing to be her primary physician without insurance, but we can't get the hospital to let her make payments for the expenses incurred.

My head hurts.  I'm going to bed now.
