Even if it weren't coherant, it wouldn't matter. But, to those who know you, it is. i know your relationship with your Dad wasn't what you would have wanted. Remember the day you realized that a person could be an alcoholic and still be a good person? That the two weren't mutually exclusive? Although that didn't magically make things better, at least you could talk to him. And, even though it wasn't the talk, you were able to show him your love, in some form.
i am glad you were able to mourn for your dad, for the relationship you didn't have, for the things left unsaid. And i believe that he knows - but more importantly, you do.
