A minor change in plans

Well, looks like the move is going to be pushed back by two weeks. I was hoping that my current landlord could cut me a little bit of slack, but their hands are tied and they have to hold me through the end of next month. I really can't afford to pay rent in two places for that long, so I will be moving into my new place on the 1st of July. That is on a Monday, which should work really well as far as Ben is concerned. I'll have a normal weekend with him, take him home sunday evening as usual, and then spend the night preparing for the move. I have already started packing books and things that I can live without for six weeks, so hopefully I can accomplish the move itself fairly smoothly. Figure get the last of my things packed up Sunday night, load up the truck Monday morning and get everything over to the new place. Best case come back Monday night to clean the old apartment, worst case come back Tuesday for same. Hand in my keys, pay one or two days of pro-rated rent in my old place, and I have the rest of the week to get settled in at the new place before Ben shows up on the weekend. Should be simple. (he says optimistically....)
