She had applied for assistance from an organization called GH Sponsored Care, who assist low income people in paying for prescriptions and medical care. They have approved the application, and will pay for all medical and prescriptions for both my mom and John until August, and will also cover any past due bills for the last 12 months. This is a *huge* relief.
On the other hand she also got a letter from Social Security. They are requiring her to go for a mental health exam next week. Ah well, at least there is some forward motion there.
