Needless to say, it's been kind of an up and down week. Wednesday I "worked from home". I actually did get work done, but that was alternated with getting my annual eye exam, going to Ben's annual IEP (Individual Education Plan) meeting, and randomly breaking down and crying with little or no provacation. Wendesday ngiht Kris came over after work, and we went out to dinner and then spent the rest of the evening together.

Last night we had our regular Pat Pack get together at Grady's, and a huge crowd turned out. For all intents and purposes it was a wake for Trisha. We kept a seat for her, Auntie Em brought flowers, and many toasts were raised. My mom was nice enough to watch Ben for me, so I was able to show up early and stay for the entire thing without having to worry. It made a huge difference. It was a very good gathering. I think Trisha would have been pleased.

A date still has not been set for the memorial service. I talked to Gen (Trisha's daughter) last night, and apparently Trish's best friend is in Japan right now and can't get back for a couple of weeks. That, combined with existing commitments at the church where the service will be held, means that the memorial probably won't be unitl the 22nd. This is good. I was afraid it would happen next week while I was in Orlando, and I would be really bummed if I couldn't make it.
