Several days later, and she is still hanging around our property. I say "she" because I had to move her this morning before mowing the lawn, and she does not have a concave plastron. (Look at me, sounding all smart and stuff, when all I did was look up stuff on the internet). Sadly, I also saw that the injury that crushed part of her shell on top also cracked her plastron completely along one side. She seems to be completely mobile and healthy, so I guess the damage is not fatal. Still, it's very sad to see. In any case, when last I checked on her she was still hanging out under the hedge.
