Taking Bets

My mom got a new-to-her bike last week. Well, technically it is an adult trike, but same difference. New they sell for around $400, so she got a screaming deal at half that price. Mechanically the bike is in great condition, but it looks pretty rough. It needs to be cleaned up, a light dusting of surface rust needs to be removed, and the frame repainted. Pictures after the jump.

I am now taking bets on whether or not I will be able to successfully turn it back into a functioning bike....

Hey.. you put an engine for a VW Microbus back together... and only had a few parts left over. :) i am betting you will get it back together just fine.

Wait a sec, you baggied and labeled nuts, bolts, bearings, bushings, (which is probably wore) and other assorted small parts?!?

That takes away half the fun of re-assembly! :p
