Thing 1:
According to the 7am models out of the Natioinal Hurricane Center, Wilma has slowed down considerably and will not make landfall in Florida until Monday afternoon or evening. Of course, this all hinges on what it does while crossing over the land in Mexico today. Still and all, it looks like Kris' flght home should not be effected.
Thing 2:
Last night was Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. I took my mom, and we hooked up with Sara and Ben (as well as Sara's sister, mother, father, and boyfriend). All in all it was a very nice evening. Ben seemed to really enjoy it. He was dressed up as a skeleton pirate, and he really seemed to get a kick out of seeing himself in the mirror. He even wore the gloves the whole night (they made his hands look like skeleton hands) and kept the hat on most of the time. He also stayed and watched the fireworks, which were absolutely amazing. He sat happily on a bench and watched the whole thing, and never covered his ears. By the time the fireworks were over he was dead tired, and was very much ready to go home. He looked like he was going to collapse into bed at the first available moment.
Thing 3:
As it turns out, he did not collapse into bed. He finally fell asleep at about midnight, and then woke up again at 2:30am. He kept Sara up all night, and was still wide awake this morning when I got him ready for school. I expect he is going to have a rough day. I only hope he sleeps tonight.
