So there I was last night, having dinner with F. Paul Wilson at the 50's Prime Time Diner at the MGM Studios in Disney World.  Sure, there were nine other people also having dinner with him, but I was seated directly on his left so we were chatting regularly throughout the meal.  Now, the whole deal with that restaurant is that it is themed like the 1950's, and the servers are basically Mom and they treat you like their kids.  When I got my plate of meatloaf and mashed potatoes I knew there was no way I was going to be eating my green beans.  There wasn't a dog around to slip them to, and I certainly didn't want Mom to be scolding me for not eating my vegetables, so I just kinda covered them with my napkin and pretended I was done.  (Yeah, like that ever worked on any mom anywhere in the world).  Paul saw me do it, asked what was up with that, and I told him I didn't want to get scolded for not eating my vegetables.  That right there was my biggest mistake.

The next time Mom came over to the table, Paul asked her for something or other and then just before she was going to walk away he just kind of reached over and lifted up my napkin a little to show her my green beans.  She took one look at that and said, "I'll be right back..."  Sure enough, and soon a few minutes later she came back over and began to scold me.  Then she told me to open wide, she picked up a fork, loaded it up with green beans, and started making airplane noses as she tried to shovel the food into my mouth.  When I blocked her, she gave up on that tactic.  "Fine, then..." she frowned, and then walked away with my dinner plate.  Two minutes later she returned with a green bean sundae, and proceeded to inform the entire restaurant what a bad boy I was, how I wouldn't eat my vegetables, and so this green bean sundae would be all the dessert I was getting.  A few pictures were taken of me receiving my just deserts, and I assume they will be showing up on the internet in the very near future.

I just can't believe I got ratted out by F. Paul Wilson.
