Disturbing

As I came out of the grocery store this afternoon and went to put my groceries in the trunk, I noticed that somebody had written "I'll kill you!" in the dirt on my trunk lid. It wasn't fresh -- the edges of the lines were not sharp, but rather it looked like it had been written and then sometime afterwards it had rained and softened the edges. That means it has probably been there at least a week without my noticing.
