Well, I must say I got my vacation kicked off in great fashion. As a prelude, I hung out at ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
retcon's place last night playing The Great Brain Robbery and watching all the pretty girls. Damn if that guy hasn't turned into a real chick magnet. This is clearly irony at it's harshest point, revenge for high school when he had short hair, a different name, and had to put up with *me* getting all the girls. Ah, well. Rff, you are a fine host, and a heck of a nice guy to boot.
This morning I got up two hours earlier than usual so that I could head down to KOMO and hang out with Pat Cashman and Steve Wilson. I think it is safe to say that I am now a Very Close Personal FriendTM of Pat Cashman. Seriously, it was very nice to have the opportunity to welcome him back after being off the air for almost three weeks. Sadly his mother passed away two weeks ago. This morning he thanked me for providing the streaming audio of the show, which had allowed his mom to listen to him every morning. It meant a great deal to him, and I am pleased that I could help in some small measure.
Anyway, I spent about three hours down at the radio station before heading home to take a nap. Now I am out the door to grab some lunch and then take a drive. I am not positive exactly where I will end up, but the odds are leaning towards some quality time in a cheese-intensive country north of the border. Time will tell. I may be back tonight, or I may grab a hotel room and not come home until tomorrow. Or the next day. Or something.
