So, Ben did run a slight fever yesterday evening and was switched to a new antibiotic. He slept from 9:30pm to 8:30am, but was restless throughout the night. This morning while that attending physician was there, Ben had another red runny diaper. Prior to that the doctor was making generalizations about how it was really nothing to be concerned about. As soon as he saw the actual stool, he changed his tone immediately and said they needed to run some tests. Ben's pain does not appear to be lessening at all. They will probably be doing another x-ray or CT scan to see if things look any differently today than they did last week.
