The results of last night's CT scan are back.  Ben has developed a psuedo-cyst at the top of his pancreas that was not there before the procedure.  We had been warned before the ERCP was done that this was one of the potential side-effects.  The current battle plan is to put Ben back on NPO (absolutely no food or drink by mouth, all nutrients from the IV), start a new antibiotic, continue to give him Tylenol as needed to control the fever and Morphine to control the pain, and watch him for the next couple of days.  If the psuedo-cyst has not begun to resolve itself, or if it has actually grown larger, then they may need to go in surgically to drain the fluid.

I suspect there are many of us out here, reading along but not commenting much. And I hope our good wishes for all of you will in some way help.

Please let us know if there's anything tangible we can do, and meanwhile - hugs.
