Totalled

For those not following me on twitter: Kris' car has been officially totalled by the insurance company. They valued the car at $2,000 more than I expected. There will definitely be enough after paying off the loan to make a decent down payment on a new car.

Kris and I are presently at the doctor. I am mostly fine, just a little soreness. Kris is in more pain, particularly withher ankle. All things considered we are both vet, very fortunate. I have nothing but glowing things to say about the safety of toyotas and how well they absorb impacts.
