Cats are safe

Just a quick follow-up to my post last week about the fire at Carol's house - there were actually two cats in the house, and both were found completely unharmed. Also very unhappy, I am sure, but completely safe. The house itself has lots of smoke damage but is still structurally sound. No doubt it will take a while for everything to be cleaned up and repaired, but that's what insurance is for. Not fun to go through, but it could have been so much worse.
